Job summary

HCSC is seeking a Senior Contract Specialist to draft account-specific documents, review non-standard language, and handle regulatory filings. This role supports daily operations, acts as a liaison among staff and management, and helps develop DLPs and workflows.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor degree or 4 years of related experience, strong drafting skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; remote work is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or 4 years work experience in a position involving independent judgment and initiative.
• 1 year experience and skills in drafting standard or customized contracts or booklet documents with no guidance
• PC experience including Microsoft Office.
• Experience in deadline driven environment and completing tasks on time.
• Judgment and problem resolution skills.
• Verbal and written communication skills to interface with staff from other departments, draft document language and handle issue resolution
• Background in network management and provider contracting - HIGHLY PREFERRED
• SalesForce/Conga or other contract lifecycle management experience.
• Experience developing corporate project plans and/or project management.

Responsibilities

• Draft account-specific documents (contracts, templates, etc.).
• Review non-standard document language requests for accuracy and consistency.
• Submit Department of Insurance regulatory filings.
• Source and review contracts for audit, legal, and compliance requirements.
• Support day-to-day team operations and escalate concerns as needed.
• Draft and edit desk level procedures (DLPs) and workflow documents.
