Health Care Service Corporation is seeking a Senior Contract Specialist to draft account-specific documents, review non-standard language requests, and submit regulatory filings to ensure accuracy and compliance. The role also sources and reviews contracts for audit, legal, and compliance purposes while supporting day-to-day operations and liaising between staff and management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or 4 years work experience in a position involving independent judgment and initiative.
• 1 year experience and skills in drafting standard or customized contracts or booklet documents with no guidance PC experience including Microsoft Office.
• Experience in deadline driven environment and completing tasks on time.
• Judgment and problem resolution skills.
• Verbal and written communication skills to interface with staff from other departments, draft document language and handle issue resolution

Responsibilities

• Draft account-specific documents (contract templates, etc.) and review non-standard language requests.
• Submit Department of Insurance regulatory filings.
• Source and review contracts for audit, legal, and compliance requirements.
• Support day-to-day operations of the team and elevate concerns to management.
• Draft and edit desk level procedures (DLPs) and workflow documents.
