Job summary

Acxiom is seeking an Expert Contract Development Manager to lead drafting and end-to-end management of commercial agreements, from standard single-product contracts to multi-million-dollar solutions.

You will guide negotiations, align with business objectives, client requirements, and critical timelines, while collaborating with business, legal, finance, and operations to implement templates and CLM improvements.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and deliver complex commercial contracts and agreement packages.
• Own and manage the contracting process from initiation through execution.
• Serve as the primary liaison among business, legal, finance, and cross-functional teams.
• Facilitate negotiations and mediate to resolve contractual issues and move deals forward.
• Lead contract review, approval, and compliance, aligning with policies.
• Develop negotiation strategies with stakeholders and evaluate positions.
• Identify risks and escalate issues related to contracts, operations, finances, and commercial terms.
• Build deep understanding of business operations and decision-making processes.
• Provide guidance on contracting standards, processes, and best practices.
• Educate sales and opportunity teams on contract requirements and process.
• Develop, implement, and maintain contract development and administration procedures.
• Create and maintain contract templates for Acxiom's products and services.
• Collaborate with finance to ensure revenue recognition, pricing, discounts, and risk management compliance.
• Monitor client feedback and market trends to suggest improvements.
