Ladders is seeking a Senior Casualty Claims Examiner specializing in construction defect to join our client’s team. This remote role focuses on managing low to moderate exposure claims with emphasis on coverage analysis, claim resolution, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2-7 years of construction defect claims experience (experience level varies).
• Must be licensed or able to become licensed in required states.
• Knowledge of industry trends and legal developments.

Responsibilities

• Initiate timely contact with all relevant parties upon claim assignment
• Handle low to moderate exposure construction defect claims
• Analyze insurance policies to determine applicable coverage
• Draft and issue coverage position letters
• Negotiate settlements
• Ensure compliance with DOI regulations and internal policies
• Coordinate with defense counsel and experts for effective case resolution
• Maintain accurate documentation of all claim activities
• Collaborate with underwriting and internal teams to coordinate claim strategies
