Job summary

Brooksource is seeking a Senior Configuration Analyst to work remotely. This role involves managing full change lifecycles, ensuring configuration integrity in a federal IT/OT environment. Candidates should have at least four years of experience in configuration management and a relevant degree.

As part of the responsibilities, you will maintain the CMDB and regulate change processes while supporting compliance audits. A Public Trust clearance is required or preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in configuration, change, or release management.
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience maintaining a CMDB in a federal IT environment.
• Have or have previously held a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Log, track, and maintain all IT/OT changes and associated artifacts throughout the full change lifecycle.
• Produce and maintain change records to ensure transparency and compliance.
• Perform complex change analysis and reconciliation of configuration data.
• Maintain the CMDB as the authoritative source for configuration items.
• Regulate the change process to ensure only approved changes are incorporated.
• Support quality assurance audits and configuration status accounting.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to follow configuration management procedures.
