Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Community Affairs & Partnerships Manager to lead cross-functional community engagement across assigned markets and strengthen the company’s social license to operate. Reporting to the Director of Community Affairs & Partnerships, you will advise senior leadership on local risks and opportunities and build relationships with government and community stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Public Affairs, Political Science, Urban Planning or a related field.
10+ years of progressive experience in community affairs, stakeholder engagement, social performance, public affairs, government affairs or external relations.
Experience supporting data centers, energy projects or other large-scale critical infrastructure.
Experience with permitting or entitlement processes.
Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex stakeholder strategies across multiple markets.
Experience translating local developments into clear business recommendations.
Proven ability to build relationships with senior government officials, community organizations, businesses, labor representatives and other stakeholders.
Experience advising senior leaders in politically sensitive or high-visibility environments.
Experience using stakeholder-management tools and metrics.
Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional community engagement strategies across assigned markets, aligning stakeholder engagement with business objectives, permitting milestones, construction schedules and operational priorities.
Build trusted relationships with elected officials, community leaders, faith-based organizations, nonprofits, unions, business groups and other local stakeholders.
Represent CoreWeave in community, political and public forums while identifying emerging issues and developing appropriate engagement and escalation strategies.
Provide Community Affairs input into site selection and project due diligence.
Assess community sentiment, political dynamics, local opposition, reputational risks and emerging community concerns.
Translate these findings into practical recommendations for business leaders.
Lead the development and negotiation of Community Benefit Agreements while coordinating with Incentives, Legal and Development teams on PILOTs, RDAs and similar development agreements.
Identify and oversee local partnerships and community investments aligned with both business objectives and community priorities.
Collaborate with CoreWeave Cares and Employee Action Networks to direct employee-driven community initiatives toward communities where CoreWeave operates.
Establish KPIs and provide senior leadership with concise reporting on stakeholder alignment, community sentiment, partnership outcomes, local risks and opportunities; manage budgets for engagement activities.
