Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Community Affairs & Partnerships Manager to lead cross-functional community engagement across assigned markets and strengthen the company’s social license to operate. Reporting to the Director of Community Affairs & Partnerships, you will advise senior leadership on local risks and opportunities and build relationships with government and community stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Affairs, Political Science, Urban Planning or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in community affairs, stakeholder engagement, social performance, public affairs, government affairs or external relations.
  • Experience supporting data centers, energy projects or other large-scale critical infrastructure.
  • Experience with permitting or entitlement processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex stakeholder strategies across multiple markets.
  • Experience translating local developments into clear business recommendations.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with senior government officials, community organizations, businesses, labor representatives and other stakeholders.
  • Experience advising senior leaders in politically sensitive or high-visibility environments.
  • Experience using stakeholder-management tools and metrics.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional community engagement strategies across assigned markets, aligning stakeholder engagement with business objectives, permitting milestones, construction schedules and operational priorities.
  • Build trusted relationships with elected officials, community leaders, faith-based organizations, nonprofits, unions, business groups and other local stakeholders.
  • Represent CoreWeave in community, political and public forums while identifying emerging issues and developing appropriate engagement and escalation strategies.
  • Provide Community Affairs input into site selection and project due diligence.
  • Assess community sentiment, political dynamics, local opposition, reputational risks and emerging community concerns.
  • Translate these findings into practical recommendations for business leaders.
  • Lead the development and negotiation of Community Benefit Agreements while coordinating with Incentives, Legal and Development teams on PILOTs, RDAs and similar development agreements.
  • Identify and oversee local partnerships and community investments aligned with both business objectives and community priorities.
  • Collaborate with CoreWeave Cares and Employee Action Networks to direct employee-driven community initiatives toward communities where CoreWeave operates.
  • Establish KPIs and provide senior leadership with concise reporting on stakeholder alignment, community sentiment, partnership outcomes, local risks and opportunities; manage budgets for engagement activities.
