Crusoe is seeking a Manager, Local Community Engagement Liaison to build and maintain a social license to operate in communities where we deploy infrastructure. You will be the face and voice, turning opposition into partnerships through transparency, education, and investment.

Responsibilities include engaging with local officials, managing community investment, organizing public forums, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to craft localized communications and outreach.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in community relations, local government, or public affairs.

Responsibilities

• Primary Point of Contact: Serve as the first line of communication for local residents, small business owners, and community groups.
• Local Official Engagement: Maintain regular contact with City Councils, County Commissions, and local planning boards to provide project updates.
• Crisis Communication: Respond quickly to local concerns or misinformation, resolving issues before they escalate.
• Community Investment: Manage local giving budget, identifying high-impact sponsorships, grants, and volunteer events.
• Public Forums: Organize town halls, open houses, and site tours to demystify operations for general audiences.
• Workforce Partnerships: Partner with local colleges or trade schools to create hiring pathways.
• Local Intelligence: Report on local sentiment, political shifts, and potential roadblocks.
• Content Creation: Create newsletters, fact sheets, and social updates with Marketing/Comms.
