Job summary

KnowBe4 is hiring a Senior Commission Analyst focused on accurate monthly commissions, payroll alignment, and testing new plans in the commission system. You’ll update employee data, troubleshoot issues, and prepare reports for sales and finance leadership.

Requirements include a degree in business or related field, 2+ years in commissions/payroll, and strong Excel/SQL skills. This is a US-based, full-time role with salary in the 80k–90k range.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Math, CS, Statistics, Accounting or related field preferred
• A minimum of 2 years commission/payroll experience (or combination payroll and HR)
• SQL training and some familiarity with general Database functions a plus
• Experience with Xactly Incent Commission System preferred
• Experience with Gmail and Google Docs
• Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel, including pivot tables)
• Strong verbal and written communications
• Excellent time management and organization skills
• Ability to work in a team on projects and independently
• Strong math and numeracy skills
• Discretion involving personal and legal matters

Responsibilities

• Calculate monthly accrued commissions and commissions paid within month end close deadlines
• Update the organization’s commission system with employee changes and commission plan changes on an ongoing basis
• Develop and test new commission plans in the organization’s commission system
• Work with our commission system’s personnel to troubleshoot issues
• Ensure accurate responses to inquiries or concerns related to commission and incentives are provided to employees
• Review commission payment reports for accuracy and completeness
• Ensure accurate and timely commission payouts
• Prepare commission expense reports, presentations and recommendations for sales and/or finance management as needed
• Actively respond to new system changes needed
