Job summary

ICU Medical Inc. is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, CloudOps to scale a multi-account AWS environment for healthcare-focused applications and analytics.

You will bridge infrastructure engineering, production support, and cloud modernization across microservices, emphasizing Linux, Terraform/CloudFormation, and containerized platforms. You will participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and continuous deployment workflows while helping drive Kubernetes (EKS) modernization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on AWS Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Production workloads experience in Linux/AWS environments.
• Healthcare industry experience with HIPAA/HiTrust compliance infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage 35+ account AWS Organization and core services (EC2, ECS/Fargate, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, Aurora/RDS).
• Support deployments and CI/CD pipelines; automate infra using Python, Bash, CloudFormation.
• Monitor health with Datadog, CloudWatch, Zabbix; perform root-cause analysis and reduce noise.
• Participate in on-call rotation; manage incident response and failover validation.
• Maintain HIPAA/HiTrust compliance and IAM/network security posture across environments.
• Support Java (Spring Boot) and Python apps in containers; assist with Kubernetes (EKS) modernization.
