Job summary

Fuze Health Inc. is seeking a security engineer to reinforce infrastructure, cloud, and application security across our environment. You will review designs, implement controls, and automate security workflows with Python, Bash, and Terraform.

The role requires hands-on Kubernetes security, experience with firewalls and IDS, and collaboration across teams to meet audit and compliance needs. Remote US-based; travel minimal.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in security engineering with focus on infrastructure, app and cloud security.
• Hands-on experience securing Kubernetes (K8s) and container platforms in production.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, Terraform or similar).
• Experience with building and maintaining security systems in cloud and on-prem environments.
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Responsibilities

• Review system designs to assess security posture and make architecture recommendations.
• Develop automation to integrate systems and improve coverage of security tooling.
• Write documentation including policies and procedures for networks, containers, and cloud.
• Design and implement infrastructure security controls for servers, cloud, and containers.
• Support audits and customer/vendor security requirements; enable travel as needed.
