Job summary

Fuze Health is hiring a security engineer to review designs, enforce secure architectures, and automate security workflows across cloud, on‑prem, and container platforms. You will collaborate with multiple teams to strengthen controls, support audits, and promote secure coding practices.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in security engineering, strong Kubernetes experience, and proven scripting skills in Python or similar. This role offers remote work with potential US travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in security engineering with focus on infrastructure, application and cloud security.
• Hands-on experience securing Kubernetes (K8s) and container platforms in production environments.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, Terraform or similar).
• Experience building and maintaining security systems in Cloud and on-premises environments.

Responsibilities

• Review system design and implementations to assess security posture and advise on architecture.
• Develop automation using Python and other tools to integrate various systems.
• Design and implement infrastructure security controls for servers, cloud environments, and container platforms.
• Assist with audits and external security requirements for customers and vendors.
• Educate and raise security awareness across teams.
