Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Security Engineer to strengthen our infrastructure, cloud, and application security. You will review designs, implement automation, and contribute to policy documentation across networks, containers, and cloud environments.

The role requires hands-on Kubernetes security, scripting skills (Python/Bash/Terraform), and experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM. Travel may be occasional; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of security engineering experience focusing on infrastructure, application and cloud security.
• Hands-on experience securing Kubernetes (K8s) and container platforms in production.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, Terraform or similar).
• Experience building and maintaining security systems in cloud and on-premises environments.
• Hands-on security systems experience including firewalls, IDS/IPS, anti-virus, authentication, log management, content filtering, etc.
• Experience with network security, monitoring tools, and web technologies (Web apps, APIs).
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Review designs and implementations to assess security posture and advise architecture from threat modeling.
• Use scripts and tools to ensure full coverage of the security agent suite across platforms.
• Develop automation using Python to integrate systems.
• Write documentation for network, containers, and cloud security policies and procedures.
• Design and implement security controls for servers, cloud, and container platforms.
• Support customer and vendor audits and external-facing security requirements.
• Strengthen Network Protection, Access Control, and Education/Awareness.
