Job summary

ComPsych Corporation seeks a Senior Cloud Security Engineer for a fully remote role. You will secure cloud posture across AWS/Azure, build security in pipelines, and design data protection and AI guardrails while owning detection and vulnerability management.

The role covers HIPAA, privacy by design, and cross-border considerations for PHI data. The ideal candidate has 6–9 years of security engineering with cloud experience and holds a CS degree, plus CISSP or cloud security credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6 to 9 years of security engineering with cloud experience.
• Hands-on with cloud security, AI security, and data privacy.
• Experience building controls as code and on-call experience.

Responsibilities

• Secure cloud by design across AWS/Azure and guardrails.
• Shift security left in CI/CD with SCA/ secrets management.
• Design network segmentation and zero-trust access.
• Lead data classification, encryption, and DLP with privacy by design.
• Design guardrails for AI systems and ML security.
• Own detection, response, and vulnerability management lifecycle.
• Maintain security baselines and compliant controls across teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
