Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Sr. Clinical AI Integration Specialist to support the VA as Ambient Scribe rolls out across VISNs, medical centers, and vendors. The role is remote and focuses on ensuring vendor solutions fit clinical workflows and site readiness.

You will serve as the hands‑on connector between what vendors deliver and what sites need to succeed, coordinating setup, testing, and go‑live activities with multiple stakeholders across the network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 12+ years of related work in healthcare IT or equivalent experience.
• Experience in healthcare technology implementation, application support, or similar.
• Experience coordinating with vendors and multiple stakeholders to deliver a unified solution.
• Strong problem‑solving skills; can distinguish product issues from workflow gaps.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day‑to‑day point of contact for VISNs and sites during onboarding, pilots, and go‑live.
• Coordinate setup, configuration, and rollout activities with vendors at each site.
• Assist sites in readiness steps and confirm workflows, equipment, and access are in place.
• Support testing at sites and report results to the Lead using standard processes.
• Troubleshoot issues during training and live support; route unresolved items to the appropriate vendor/VA team.
• Document issues clearly and track them through to resolution; share patterns across sites and vendors.
• Assist with equipment setup/testing at the site level and build relationships with stakeholders.
• Contribute to job aids, checklists, and best practices to improve rollouts.
