Job summary

American Family Insurance is seeking an experienced litigation support specialist to assist attorneys through all stages of the litigation process. You will conduct legal research and draft pleadings, discovery requests, and case summaries under supervision.

The role involves organizing medical records, coordinating discovery, preparing witness materials, and supporting trial preparation. Travel up to 10% and relocation assistance are available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience performing legal research and preparing pleadings and discovery responses.
• Experience drafting deposition summaries, motions, and case memos under attorney supervision.
• Ability to organize complex case materials and manage discovery timelines.

Responsibilities

• Draft and manage complex pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, and case summaries under attorney supervision.
• Analyze and summarize medical records and other case documents to support discovery and trial prep.
• Coordinate all phases of discovery and case investigation with minimal supervision.
• Conduct witness interviews, prepare materials, and assist with trial support documents.
• Support trial preparation with exhibits, chronologies, and hearing contentions.
• Maintain confidential litigation files and ensure compliance with court deadlines.
