Job summary

American Family Insurance is seeking a litigation support professional to assist in all phases of the litigation process under attorney supervision in Nevada. You will conduct legal research, manage discovery, and prepare witness materials, exhibits, and trial contentions.

Ideal candidates will have experience organizing medical records, coordinating discovery plans, and maintaining confidential case files in Clark County procedures and local rules.

Qualifications

• Experience drafting pleadings and motions.
• Experience with discovery responses and case law.
• Ability to handle confidential documents with ethics.

Responsibilities

• Draft and manage complex pleadings, discovery requests and responses under attorney supervision.
• Analyze and summarize medical records and case-related documentation for discovery, strategy, and trial prep.
• Coordinate and execute all phases of discovery and case investigation with minimal supervision.
• Interview insureds, company reps, experts, and witnesses; prepare witness materials and trial support documents.
• Support trial prep, mediations, arbitrations, and hearings with exhibits, binders, timelines, and case summaries.
• Maintain complex litigation files and electronic records, ensuring confidentiality and calendar management.
• Evaluate cases to identify issues, assess settlement potential, and identify additional investigations needed.
• Obtain and analyze records; prepare statements of facts, case summaries, hearing outlines, and contentions.
