Job summary

Remote – United States is the target deployment model. The CPA CAPPS program seeks a senior CAPPS consultant to support the CAPPS Financials area, including Purchasing, Contracts, and related modules.

Responsibilities include configuration, integration, testing, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration across 100+ agencies. Ideal candidates will have extensive PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 experience, RMJ batch knowledge, ITIL familiarity, and strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• 10 years of extensive knowledge of State of Texas policies.
• 10 years with extensive technical skillsets in PeopleSoft CAPPS FSCM 9.2.
• 10 years with system configuration changes.
• 10 years with CAPPS Purchasing module experience.
• 8+ years handling batch jobs (RMJ).
• 8 years security and multitenancy experience (NIST).
• 8 years Texas public sector experience with large agency networks.
• 8 years experience developing roadmaps with cross-functional teams.
• 8 years familiarity with PUM, Fluid and Elastic Search.
• 8 years performing CAPPS-related functional project management.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level CAPPS consultative services and functional assistance.
• Own CAPPS Purchasing (PO) and Contracts module SME duties.
• Configure and maintain CAPPS modules and integrations.
• Lead testing, UAT, and release management activities.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams; ensure compliance.
• Deliver reporting and analytics using CAPPS tools.
• Provide Level 2 Service Desk support for CAPPS-related issues.
