Gainwell Technologies LLC is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to help health plan clients improve member outcomes through collaboration with clients, product teams and technical staff. You will define and document business requirements, translate them into actionable specifications, and support data-driven decision making.

The role emphasizes data mapping, semantic modeling, and cross-functional collaboration, with mentoring responsibilities and disaster recovery/operational readiness

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role, Medicaid/Medicare experience preferred.
• Strong client communication and ability to translate business needs into requirements.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business requirements, data mapping specifications, test plans, and validation activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business process re-engineering skills.
• Strong executive presence and communication skills to deliver messages effectively to business leaders, clients, and technical personnel.
• A leader who motivates others to action and communicates complex technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate IT projects and mentor new team members.
• Define, document, and validate business requirements with clients and teams.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain data mappings and semantic models.
• Support SLAs, reporting, and change management activities.
• Collaborate with product and technical teams to review enhancements and validate requirements.
