Gainwell Technologies is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for Medicaid Claims & Eligibility to apply expertise in Medicaid programs, business analysis, and process improvement on critical healthcare initiatives for clients and their members.

The role includes coordinating a business analyst team on IT projects and bridging clients, PMs, and technical staff to define clear requirements, while identifying opportunities to improve processes and system design.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role with Medicaid/Medicare experience preferred.
• Experience in Medicaid claims processing and eligibility business functions strongly preferred.
• Strong client communication translating needs into actionable objectives.
• Strong analytical, business process re-engineering, and process modeling skills.
• Experience with requirement mapping and elicitation across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a business analyst team's duties on IT projects and mentor newer team members.
• Bridge between clients, project managers and technical staff to define and share business requirements.
• Work with clients to develop business specifications at project start.
• Analyze and design to improve business processes aligning with client tech goals.
• Verify that requirements are met by approving and validating test results.
