Job summary

Aries is seeking a Senior Brokerage Operations & Controls Analyst to own daily reconciliations, controls, and investigations within a remote US-based team. You will design dashboards, automate workflows, and partner with Product, Engineering, Risk, Compliance, and external brokerage partners to scale the platform.

The role requires deep knowledge of brokerage operations and the ability to drive root-cause resolution across complex datasets and multiple systems.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in brokerage operations or similar broker-dealer function.
• Strong understanding of the U.S. securities trade lifecycle (execution, clearing, settlement, account servicing).
• Hands-on experience investigating breaks in position, cash, trade, settlement, or reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Own daily brokerage reconciliations and operational controls.
• Investigate discrepancies across positions, trades, cash, settlement, margin, and customer accounts.
• Resolve trade breaks, settlement issues, and other operational exceptions.
• Investigate equities and listed options activity through the trade lifecycle (execution to settlement).
• Support compliance with regulatory investigations and examinations.
• Design and improve dashboards, reconciliation tools, and automation to scale operations.
