Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Senior Associate, Broker Dealer Operations to lead key broker-dealer workflows within the Coinbase Capital Markets team.

You will manage reconciliations, corporate actions, transfers, and regulatory reporting, coordinating across Apex and internal teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency. You will collaborate with Product and Engineering to define requirements, test new tooling, and automate processes, while driving improvements that reduce manual work and enhance

Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial services operations, broker-dealer operations, clearing and settlement, or related operational control functions.
• Experience with U.S. equities trade lifecycle (order processing, settlement, positions, cash movements).
• Ability to author or improve SOPs, runbooks, controls, or audit materials in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Own recurring broker-dealer operations workflows across reconciliations, corporate actions, transfers, account maintenance, error processing, and regulatory reporting.
• Perform daily reconciliations between Coinbase and Apex, investigate breaks, document root causes, and drive resolution.
• Manage complex exceptions and incidents by coordinating remediation with multiple teams, prioritizing impact.
• Build and maintain audit-ready documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and control checklists.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define requirements, test functionality, and improve tooling and automation.
• Identify systemic failure modes and lead process-improvement initiatives to reduce manual work and strengthen resilience.
