A locally owned, 150-person CPA firm is seeking an experienced Remote Bookkeeper to join their family-friendly firm.

Full time, W2

Location :

REMOTE within the US

Compensation :

$70,000- $75,000 DOE

The CPA firm is looking for a full-time, experienced Senior Bookkeeper with recent public accounting experience to join their Client Accounting Services (CAS) team.

Responsibilities include :

• Assigning all new Accounting Services clients to the appropriate staff member.
• Reassigning jobs to maintain balanced workloads and effective delegation.
• Monitoring workload and status of work deliverables.
• Developing standards and procedures to ensure consistency of general services jobs.
• Providing timely and meaningful feedback to the CAS Director for staff evaluations.
• Reviewing financial statements prepared by staff on various accounting bases.
• Meeting with current and prospective clients to assess needs, recommend bookkeeping procedures and technology, and provide training.
• Providing client support as needed.

Education, experience, and skills :

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a full-charge bookkeeper.
• Accounting or Business degree required.
• Well-rounded knowledge and technical skills in bookkeeping services.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online and Desktop.
• Ability to lead, direct, and instruct CAS team members.
• Professional demeanor with confidence and ease when interacting with staff and clients.
