Job summary

UST is seeking a Senior BI Developer Lead II to design, develop, and maintain enterprise BI solutions using Power BI, DAX, and data modeling best practices.

You will build and optimize SQL queries and procedures, develop data models for analytics, and use Python for data extraction, automation, and advanced analytics. Collaboration with business stakeholders is essential to deliver actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related fields.
• Strong expertise in SQL and relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and dashboard development.
• Strong knowledge of Data Modeling concepts.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and data processing.
• Experience working with large datasets and data warehousing solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working with commercial/business operations data is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable BI and reporting solutions using Power BI.
• Build and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Develop and maintain enterprise data models to support analytics and reporting requirements.
• Create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide actionable business insights.
• Utilize Python scripting for data extraction, transformation, automation, and advanced analytics.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to ensure data quality and reliability.
• Work closely with data engineering and business teams to implement best practices for BI development.
• Support ad hoc reporting requests and analytical initiatives.
