Key Responsibilities

• Lead the ideation, formulation, and development of new skincare and beauty products from concept to commercialization.

• Oversee the formulation process, ensuring product efficacy, stability, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage external contract manufacturers and R&D labs, providing clear specifications and guidance.
• Develop and execute testing protocols, including stability, compatibility, and efficacy testing.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer feedback to identify unmet needs and opportunities for innovation.
• Prepare detailed product development reports, cost analyses, and project timelines.
• Ensure all product development activities comply with relevant industry regulations and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during the development or manufacturing process.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmacy, or a related scientific field.
• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in beauty and skincare product development, with a strong portfolio of launched products.
• In-depth knowledge of cosmetic ingredients, formulation techniques, and manufacturing processes for skincare.
• Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced R&D environment.
• Familiarity with international cosmetic regulations (e.g., FDA, EU regulations).
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams remotely.
• Proficiency in relevant software, including formulation databases and project management tools.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and capable of working autonomously in a remote setting.
