Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Banking & Finance Lawyer for a fully remote role. The ideal candidate will advise lenders, borrowers, and financial institutions on complex financing structures and cross-border transactions within a global legal network.

We require 7+ years in Banking & Finance law, strong drafting/negotiation skills, and deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks, with the ability to manage multiple high-value deals remotely.

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney with 7+ years in Banking & Finance law.
• Experience advising on significant finance transactions and structures.
• Proven drafting/negotiation of loan agreements and security docs.
• Strong regulatory knowledge of SA and international frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Advise lenders and borrowers on acquisition, project, and corporate lending.
• Draft and negotiate loan agreements, security documents, and intercreditor arrangements.
• Conduct due diligence on borrowers and assets.
• Provide guidance on financial regulations, compliance, and restructurings.
