Teaching Strategies in Denton, Texas is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong backend focus to design and evolve backend services, APIs, and data models for planning and curriculum workflows. You will mentor engineers, lead technical initiatives from discovery to delivery, and collaborate with product, design, QA, and engineering partners to deliver cohesive end-to-end experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production software experience.
• Strong Go backend development experience.
• Experience designing APIs and service boundaries.
• Experience with distributed systems and asynchronous processing.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineers.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services.
• Build and evolve APIs, data models, and migrations.
• Develop backend services using Go and PostgreSQL.
• Lead technical initiatives from discovery to delivery.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance.
• Ensure release quality, testing, and deployment readiness.
