Ladders is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Retail DEX, to build and scale backend systems supporting digital asset trading and blockchain integration. You will expand asset coverage, improve execution quality, and strengthen data infrastructure behind heavy onchain activity.

Remote work eligible for US-based candidates. Compensation starts at $191,100+ annually; equity and bonus eligibility included, along with a flexible work environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience focusing on data systems.
• Hands-on experience with data infrastructure like Kafka and ClickHouse.
• Proficiency in designing and integrating onchain smart contracts on EVM or Solana.
• Experience enhancing code repositories with agentic-first practices in live systems.
• Experience using generative AI to improve workflows.

Responsabilités

• Integrate new blockchains and DEXs into the app to expand assets.
• Design first-party smart contracts for enhanced onchain trading execution.
• Scale data pipelines for high-volume blockchain data processing.
• Optimize the trading stack for fast execution and broad asset coverage.
