United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer focused on Payments, Ledger, and Provable Fairness. This remote role overlaps with US Pacific time by 2 hours and begins as a contract with potential for permanent employment.

You will own the server-side ledger, payment rails, and provable fairness lifecycle as key platform components. You will ship a production-grade double-entry ledger, secure auth and sessions, and idempotent webhook handling.

Qualifikationen

• Must have shipped a double-entry ledger or equivalent money system in production.
• Experience with a payment integration including webhook idempotency, auth and sessions you built and operated.
• Infrastructure you owned end to end, with provably-fair systems or settlement infrastructure a plus.

Aufgaben

• Own a server-authoritative game engine: seeds, nonces, outcome computation.
• Maintain a double-entry ledger where balance is derived and cannot be changed by clients.
• Enforce server-side limits and refusals, and ensure idempotent payments via webhooks.
• Oversee seed custody and provably-fair lifecycle and an affiliate system with referrals.
