Job summary
Lived is a fully remote health-tech startup focused on supporting people overcoming addiction. We seek a Senior Software Developer who can own features from concept to production, emphasizing scalable AWS-based backend and robust frontend integration.
You’ll work in a cross-functional team, shaping the platform for growth, delivering measurable outcomes, and mentoring peers. A strong focus on code quality and user impact guides every iteration at Lived.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years server-side software development experience.
- Experience with TypeScript and distributed AWS architectures.
- Experience creating and maintaining distributed systems on AWS (CDK).
- Familiarity with Cognito, SQS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, EC2.
- Strong SQL/PostgreSQL design and stored procedures.
- Experience with GraphQL (PostGraphile or Hasura).
- Experience authoring/deploying custom mutations.

- Shape the Lived platform for growth and impact.
- Work in a cross-functional team to deliver excellent user experiences.
- Own development outcomes from concept to deployment and monitoring.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and tasks.
- Lead code reviews and design discussions to improve quality.
