Lively, Inc. is a remote-first company building consumer-focused benefits platforms. We are seeking a strong frontend Senior Software Engineer to enhance investment and financial products used by employers and individuals.

You will work on scalable web apps, ensure security, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features. You will analyze requirements, implement features with clean code, and write automated tests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of frontend software development experience.
• Experience with Storybook and scalable web applications.
• Strong understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and provide feedback on product requirements.
• Implement features and functionality with clean, maintainable code.
• Write automated unit tests to ensure quality.
• Troubleshoot production issues and propose improvements.
