Job summary

Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Engineer to own end-to-end projects for Pyroscope, the open-source profiling tool behind Grafana Cloud. This fully remote role targets candidates in the UK, Germany, Spain, Sweden, and Ireland, and involves designing, building, and operating core distributed components while collaborating across Grafana squads.

You’ll help drive adoption, open-source contributions, and efficient incident response in a fast-moving, OSS-first environment.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with a systems language (Go preferred; other languages like Rust, C/C++, Python, Java acceptable).
• Experience building and operating cloud services in production.
• Strong product intuition and ability to translate customer pain points into deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept to rollout across Pyroscope features and integrations.
• Design, build, and operate core distributed database components (ingestion, storage, query).
• Collaborate with cross-functional Grafana teams to ensure profiling is useful across engineers.
