Job summary

Grafana Labs is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer for databases (Loki). You will work on distributed telemetry databases in Go, running on Kubernetes across cloud providers, and contribute to OSS projects.

You will influence the roadmap, deliver features end-to-end, own services, and participate in on-call rotations while collaborating with multiple teams to improve reliability and scale.

Qualifications

• Proficient in at least one programming language (Go preferred).
• Experience shipping software that runs in the cloud or in distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized deployments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Influence roadmap and own project delivery from ideation to production.
• Design, build, operate, and maintain critical systems with focus on reliability, performance, and availability.
• Participate in on-call rotations and collaborate across teams to improve the cloud product.
