Job summary

Close is seeking a seasoned software engineer to help redesign and extend our core CRM data model, enabling flexible representation of leads, contacts, opportunities, and custom objects. You will work on AI-native features and agentic enrichment, using Python and a modern stack (Go, Rust, or TS as needed) to ship high-impact functionality.

You’ll join a fully remote team, collaborate across disciplines, and help ensure our systems remain fast, scalable, and battle-tested as we evolve the product

Qualifications

• Seasoned engineer with strong Python backend experience.
• Experience designing and migrating data models at scale.
• Familiarity with search systems (Elasticsearch) and AI-enabled features.

Responsibilities

• Rearchitect the core CRM data model to support flexible customer schemas.
• Build and ship AI-native CRM features and agentic enhancements.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure scalable, fast data access and reliable performance.
