Job summary

Intone Inc. seeks a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer/Developer for a remote, long-term contract (6+ months). You will design, develop, and deploy cloud-native apps on AWS using Python and Lambda, and lead cloud architecture decisions.

The ideal candidate brings 12+ years in software and cloud tech, 6+ years with Lambda, Python, Java, and Terraform, plus experience migrating on-premises to the cloud in Agile teams.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software development and cloud technologies.
• 6+ years building with AWS Lambda and Python.
• 6+ years of Java development and cloud architecture experience.
• Strong Terraform expertise and IaC practices.
• Experience guiding on-premises to cloud migrations.
• Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native apps on AWS using Python and AWS Lambda.
• Develop and maintain APIs and serverless solutions.
• Write IaC with Terraform to automate provisioning and management.
• Work with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Lead on-premises to cloud migration projects and architecture decisions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infra and app issues.
• Collaborate within an Agile development environment.
• Provide strategic technical guidance and communicate with stakeholders.
