Job summary

CTG, a Cegeka company, is seeking an AWS Cloud Developer for our client in Dallas, TX. The role focuses on designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-native applications on AWS, with serverless and containerized solutions, API development, and IaC.

You will work with Python, Java, Node.js/TypeScript, and/or .NET, use Terraform, CloudFormation or AWS CDK, and collaborate via GitLab. This 5-month engagement requires strong problem solving and English communication.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of professional software or cloud development experience.
• Hands-on AWS deployment and cloud-native development experience.
• Experience with serverless, containerized, and API-based architectures.
• Experience with Terraform preferred; others ok.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-native apps on AWS.
• Build serverless and containerized solutions using AWS services.
• Create REST APIs and integrate cloud components.
• Write application code in Python, Java, Node.js/TypeScript, or .NET.
• Implement automated unit tests and ensure reliability.
• Manage IaC using Terraform; familiarity with CloudFormation or AWS CDK.
• Collaborate using GitLab for source control and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot issues and improve AWS solutions.
