Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor degree in EE or CS preferred.
• 6–8 years in AV industry with 5+ years in customer support.
• Experience with Crestron development tools (Simpl Windows, Simpl+, Simpl#, D3Pro).
• Strong communication and ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Ability to read schematics and interpret floorplans.

Responsibilities

• Handle escalated technical support cases, remotely or on-site when needed.
• Provide remote and on-site assistance to Crestron dealers and customers.
• Review designs and programming for best-practice conformance.
• Gather logs and data for effective issue reproduction and resolution.
• Perform site surveys to verify installations meet standards.
• Communicate resolutions and manage customer expectations.
• Identify risks and mitigate project delays, liaising with engineers and PMs.
