Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior ASIC & FPGA Design Engineer (remote, US-based) to drive the full hardware lifecycle from RTL to verification. You will work with architecture, firmware, and product teams to deliver high-performance digital and mixed-signal solutions.

Required 7+ years in ASIC/FPGA design, HDL proficiency (VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog), and strong verification and timing analysis skills. This is a fully remote contract with potential full-time conversion.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in ASIC design and implementation.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog.
• Experience in Linux-based development environments.
• Hands-on experience with verification methodologies, test benches, and test plans.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement digital ASICs and FPGAs using VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog.
• Translate architecture into synthesizable RTL and optimize for timing and resources.
• Develop verification strategies, test benches, and coverage for unit and system levels.
• Plan tests, create coverage models, and ensure design reliability.
• Contribute to physical design support and signoff processes where applicable.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align hardware with system requirements.
