Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer to be the primary technical contact for clients, partnering with Sales and Process Engineering to deliver ultrapure water solutions.

You will own the full proposal lifecycle—from lead qualification through system design, costing and contract handover—while coordinating across global teams and vendors. The role requires strong expertise in mass transfer, fluid dynamics, and inorganic chemistry, plus solid PM skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or similar.
• 7+ years of experience in industrial process design, membranetechnologies, purification or related field.
• Strong foundation in mass transfer, fluid dynamics, and inorganic chemistry.
• Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a global, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design UPW systems using mass transfer, fluid dynamics and inorganic chemistry.
• Develop process flow diagrams, mass balances and system layouts with Process Engineering.
• Own proposal schedules and coordinate resources across engineering teams.
• Manage vendor and subcontractor relationships throughout the proposal cycle.
• Create client-ready proposal documents and provide technical consultations to Sales.
