Job summary
Veolia Water Technology seeks a Process Engineering Project Technical Leader - Microelectronics to drive ultrapure water, wastewater, and reclaim treatment solutions for the North American market. You will lead a team of Process Engineers, own the flow diagram, and coordinate complex projects from design through commissioning.
You will apply advanced treatment technologies, manage risks, and act as the primary technical contact for customers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or advanced degree in Engineering (Environmental/Chemical/Mechanical preferred).
- 10+ years of related experience in process design and/or operation.
- Experience with UPW, wastewater, and reclaim treatment in microelectronics.
- Leadership experience to lead teams, train, and mentor.
Responsibilities
- Lead process design for ultrapure, wastewater, and reclaim treatment for the microelectronics industry.
- Coordinate a team of Process Engineers to align flow-sheet strategy, deliverables, and schedule.
- Design complete treatment solutions meeting influent and effluent specs using in-house tools.
- Apply advanced treatment technologies (biological, ammonia removal, membranes, ion exchange, UV).
- Own the Process Flow Diagram and mass balance; manage interconnections between unit processes.
- Lead piloting, benchmarking, and treatability studies for design and commissioning.
- Serve as the lead technical contact with customers and other functions.
- Identify and manage technical risks; document risks across the flow sheet.
- Troubleshoot issues using data, observations, and field feedback.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and liaison with agencies as needed.
- Provide training and mentorship to Process Engineering team.
