Job summary

Staritas, a US-based employer, is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist for a fully remote role. You will process vendor invoices, manage payments (checks, ACH), and maintain vendor records while ensuring compliance with terms and internal controls.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of AP experience, proficiency with Concur and Stampli AI, and strong organizational and communication skills to support cross-department collaboration and audits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in accounting/financerelated field.
• Minimum five years AP experience with strong invoice processing.
• Experience with Concur and Stampli or similar AI AP tools.
• Ability to manage vendor records, payments, and month-end reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Review and process vendor invoices and purchase orders with proper approvals.
• Prepare payments (checks, ACH) and Positive Pay uploads.
• Maintain vendor records and AP documentation.
• Verify invoice accuracy and receipt of goods/services before payment.
• Ensure timely payments and adherence to terms.
• Maintain AP reports and resolve vendor inquiries.
• Handle vendor tax reporting (W‑9, 1099).
• Complete month-end close activities and AP reconciliations.
• Support cash management, forecasting, and asset tracking.
• Assist with audits and process improvements.
• Reconcile AP-related accounts.
