Job summary

Rula is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our unified, high-velocity Analytics Engineering pod. You will co-own, scale, and optimize the Transform layer of our data ecosystem across modern platforms.

This core role balances deep SQL/dbt execution with cross-functional stewardship, translating complex business processes into trusted data models. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in analytics/data engineering and strong SQL, dbt, and cloud platform experience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of analytics engineering, data engineering, or similar roles.
• Expert-level SQL proficiency with strong data modeling.
• 2+ years building modular data pipelines using dbt in production.
• Experience designing schemas on Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
• Proficient with production git workflows and data quality testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize modular dbt pipelines and schemas.
• Translate product requirements into robust data assets for Analytics, Operations, and Data Engineering.
• Diagnose performance bottlenecks to reduce query latencies and costs, including Snowflake migration work.
• Mentor peers, conduct code reviews, and enforce data security standards.
• Collaborate with analytics, operations, and business teams to document data structures clearly.
