Job summary

Block seeks a Senior Analytics Engineer to own telemetry, pipelines, and executive-facing reporting for AI and developer experience. You’ll define metrics, build data products, and partner across data engineering, applied AI, and data science to surface actionable insights.

You’ll use AI coding agents in building and maintaining pipelines, dashboards, and analyses, turning messy signals into trusted numbers for executive decision-making.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or BI.
• Strong SQL and Python, with production data pipelines.
• Experience partnering with engineering to instrument new telemetry.

Responsibilities

• Instrument and extend telemetry for AI usage, code changes, CI/CD, and spend.
• Build and maintain production ETL pipelines and governed tables.
• Create executive dashboards and narrative analyses for decision-making.
