SharkNinja, based in Needham, MA or Remote US, is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to own data products end to end, from onboarding sources to delivering actionable insights for business teams.

You will work in an AI-assisted environment, leveraging SQL, Snowflake, dbt Cloud, and orchestration tools like Dagster or Airflow. 3–5 years in data engineering is expected, with a CS/engineering degree and relevant certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Advanced degrees or professional certifications related to data engineering are preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in data engineering and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new data sources end to end: vendor REST APIs, SFTP and S3 file drops, on-prem file shares.
• Design and implement reliable, scalable pipelines; manage schedules, backfills, checks.
• Write Python tests and dbt tests; keep CI green and standards.
• Model and maintain dbt Cloud models on Snowflake, with tests/docs.
• Use AI coding tools for dbt models, SQL refactoring, and docs.
• Mentor junior engineers and enforce data governance policies.
