The role includes accrual reviews, rate updates, and supporting audits, with opportunities for policy development and analytics. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of cost reporting experience, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of GAAP, in a remote-capable environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, systems or related field.
• 3-5 years cost reporting and third-party accounting experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and submit Medicare and Medicaid cost reports.
• Review monthly revenue and contractual adjustment accruals.
• Update Medicare rate assumptions and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate audits and respond to audit adjustments.
• Support policy development and ad hoc analyses.
