Qualifications

• 2+ years ambulatory/professional coding across chart types.
• 1+ years experience with LCDs, NCDs, Medical Necessity, and payer denials.
• Expert CPT and ICD-10-CM coding proficiency.
• High School Diploma/GED required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assign CPT and ICD-10 Edits for Professional Services according to official coding guidelines.
• Analyze and correct CCI Edits and Medical Necessity accounts while maintaining ethical coding standards.
• Provide documentation feedback to providers and stay up-to-date with coding knowledge through ongoing education.
