Job summary

Merkle Italia is seeking a Sr. Director, Lead Strategist to guide enterprise Adobe Experience Cloud transformations.

You will act as a strategic advisor at the executive level, bridging organizational change with hands-on value realization across delivery pods and client engagements. You will lead governance, change management, and activation planning for large accounts while building client capability and driving measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 15+ years of consulting experience in transformation, change leadership, or marketing strategy.
• 10+ years at a top-tier firm or marketing agency.
• Deep knowledge of end-to-end consulting approaches from strategy to execution.
• Experience shaping team/operating structures for integrated programs.
• Familiarity with change management frameworks and governance models.
• Understanding of marketing technologies to orchestrate customer experiences.
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver innovative, actionable solutions.
• Strong client-facing communication, writing, and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with Adobe platforms and agentic solutions is highly desirable.
• Travel up to 25% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic engagements assessing readiness, operating model, and change management for large-scale transformations.
• Provide governance and oversight across delivery pods and client accounts.
• Translate strategy into activation sequences and value realization for enterprise clients.
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with senior executives to influence investments.
