Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Senior AI Ethics & Governance Specialist to lead the development and implementation of robust ethics policies and governance frameworks across the organization. You will conduct ethical risk assessments, advise product teams, and collaborate with legal, compliance, and engineering to ensure responsible AI deployment.

The role requires 6+ years of AI ethics experience, advanced degrees in ethics/law/public policy, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in AI ethics, governance, responsible AI, or a closely related field.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML concepts and societal implications.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing ethical frameworks and governance structures.
• Strong knowledge of legal, regulatory, and policy landscapes related to AI.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive AI ethics policies and governance frameworks.
• Conduct ethical risk assessments and impact analyses for AI systems.
• Provide expert guidance to product teams, researchers, and leadership on responsible AI.
