Job summary

Humana, Inc. is seeking a Senior Offensive Security Engineer to build AI-driven red team tooling and lead live engagements. You’ll develop production-grade AI agents, run penetration tests, and validate defenses with purple-team exercises, shaping enterprise security across cloud and on-prem environments.

You’ll work autonomously within a hybrid model, delivering impactful tooling and measurable improvements in adversarial testing and defense.

Qualifications

4+ years in Red Team, Penetration Testing, Purple Team or Bug Bounty engagements.
Production Python engineering experience.
Hands-on designing, building, or operating AI agents or LLM applications: agentic workflows, tool/function-calling, orchestration.
Hands-on testing of AI/ML systems: prompt injection, jailbreaking, adversarial techniques.
Cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Responsibilities

Build agentic offensive tooling and production-grade AI agents.
Develop tool and function-calling capabilities driving offensive tooling.
Contribute to in-house agent platform powering tests and red-team ops.
Operate production, event-driven cloud platform at scale (serverless, data pipelines, alarms).
Run penetration tests across networks, web apps, cloud, and infrastructure.
Lead purple-team exercises to validate defenses and map gaps.
