Job summary

Humana, Inc. is seeking a Senior Offensive Security Engineer, AI-Driven Red Team & Tooling, to build production-grade AI agents and tooling for offensive engagements.

The role integrates development with hands-on testing across red-team operations, purple-team exercises, and real-world penetration tests on health-data platforms. You’ll work on an integrated platform, deploy at scale, and iterate tooling based on engagements to keep Humana ahead of adversaries.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in offensive security roles (red team, pentest, purple team) with end-to-end engagement delivery.
• Production-grade Python software development and tooling.
• Hands-on design/operation of AI agents, agentic workflows, tool/calling orchestration.
• Hands-on testing of AI/ML systems: prompt injection, evasion, adversarial techniques.
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Responsibilities

• Build and operate AI-driven offensive tooling in production-scale environments.
• Run penetration tests across network, web apps, cloud, and infrastructure with tooling support.
• Execute purple-team exercises to validate defenses and close gaps.
• Lead red-team operations, assess enterprise AI systems, and document results.
