Job summary
CTG is seeking a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer (Adabas/Natural SME) for a client. This remote role runs through the end of 2028, with duties to lead installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Adabas and Natural in an IBM z/OS environment.
Responsibilities include administering Adabas databases, storage, backup/recovery, and performance tuning; configuring Natural environments; managing SMP/E installations and patches; and supporting Adabas Event Replicator and related
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Adabas and Natural mainframe environments.
- Strong knowledge of z/OS, JCL, SMP/E, and security integration.
- Experience with mainframe performance tuning and disaster recovery.
Responsibilities
- Lead installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Adabas and Natural on IBM z/OS.
- Manage Adabas databases, storage, backup/recovery, and performance tuning.
- Configure Natural environments, including NATPARM and security settings.
- Oversee SMP/E installations, patches, and emergency fixes.
- Support Adabas Event Replicator and enterprise integrations.
